Creative did an excellent job with the creative vf0270 Optia's presentation.
The Optia's mount is equally superb, and is actually the best mount we've seen so far for a desktop webcam.
Creative live cam optia oh! what a choice. If you are missing someone , far from your beloved just turn on your pc and share your feeling and ideas one to one with the one who you cares about creative live ! Cam Optia is the best choice for this purpose. Expression is everything so try to express your self.
"Put the You On youTube" many webcams challenge for this. But Creative Live! Cam Optia was tested and prove itself on second out of five devices. Canon Elura 100 MinDV Camcorder is the first.
The Optia's vf0270 data rate is pretty high, at 1.4MB per second, and in good light, the color quality and sharpness seem surprisingly good--I wouldn't have expected such quality from a Webcam. However, I found that, when strong light came in through a window, the camera compensated for the exposure on most of the image but also showed some totally blown-out highlights--something you'd never see with a camcorder. The Optia lacks autofocus, too--you must twist the lens to adjust the focus.
There is a lot to like about optia vf0270 Web-cam. The software Creative bundles is useful and we particularly like the Smart Face Tracking feature which allows the camera to zoom and pan automatically in order to keep your face in frame. Plug-n-Play it may be, but the camera is very much hamstrung without the CD-based extras.
Slews of Software
As is typical with Creative's products, the Live! Cam Optia came loaded with a ton of software. Having worked in an IT shop where I've seen a wide array of computers hobbled down by bundleware the owners never end up using, I question Creative's decision to include so many programs, but on the other hand the software included this time actually fills a few niche markets and doesn't seem too far out of place. (At least they didn't load a swarm of Free AOL Trial programs scattered throughout my hard drive this time.) Thankfully you're provided the option to install only the components you want in the setup program.
